Subject: [Boatanchors] USCG transmitters
Good evening gentlemen,
Is there anyone on the list who has had experience with the older USCG 10 kilowatt transmitters formally used in the Loran navigation system on 160 m.?
I have a couple of questions and I would be grateful for a contact off the list please. The type of transmitter I am asking about had thyratrons(4C35's) in it of a 'robust' size.
Regards and thanks in advance,
Clive GW3WEQ
