Many hobby shops sell 1/8 white plastic dowel rods. Just cut off what you
need with a Xacto knife or some other straight shearing method and insert in
the knob. No glue is usually needed. For a couple of bucks you will have
several lifetimes of stock!

Subject: Re: [Boatanchors] EF Johnson Radio Knobs
Hi Joe,
I found some flags that the utilities use for marking their underground
cables. A couple of those flag shafts do many pointers. The diameter of
the shafts may vary of course, but the ones I found fit perfectly.
Another thought may be a craft store.
Good luck,
Joe - KB9R

Does anyone out there know where I can get some of the white pointer
indicators that go into the knobs on the EF Johnson transmitters?? If
anyone has any ideas please reply to me here or by my email. Any suggestion
would be greatly appreciated.
