Well they sure look "purty" in that set up. It would no doubt sound good,
only rated at 30W Class A.
See lots of that sort of "high end" stuff at CES. The 813's are probably
Chinese anyhow.
The "real" purists use 845 or 2A3 triodes, but they are getting hard to come
up with.
Have an ad I picked up at CES years ago, amp using 845's, 100W Class A.
Only $8,800.00 then!
Made in California.
Back in the early days of SSB we had some class A amps, very linear for
sure, but power won out and
we have to settle for something less.
