[Boatanchors] Question about SX-122

As the SX-122 uses the same can-capacitor as the SX-100/101, I've
decided to offer a re-cap kit for it.
My question is about C77, which appears to be a 12 uF @ 250V
electrolytic (parts list calls it 12 pF) that bypasses the regulated
line to the product detector/BFO.
Can anyone tell me if the capacitance of C77 is critical. Can it be
raised, even doubled?
Thanks in advance for the info.
