I don't see any reason why this interface mixer couldn't be modeled with
almost any receiver IF and panadapter. The e-ham article is nice, but
with all the part designs and component changes, the SB-620 still only
works with one IF. With this outboard  interface mixer, you could build a
number of them at various IF inputs, and never have to touch the
circuitry of the SB-620. You just plug in the appropiate output cable
from whatever mixer you need depending on the receiver you're using.
