[Boatanchors] 19 Set Power Supply

Hi,

There were VERY FEW of the Canadian AC supplies ever made. I think less
than 500 total. On top of that, all the magnetics in them were in a
single tar potted can, including a transformer, regulating choke, and
three filter chokes. The thing is a disaster and a large majority have
failed. After failure, the magnetics were stripped out by hams and
replacement parts fitted.

I have such a unit that a Canadian seller assured me was functional. Well
it was a hunk of junk. The guts had been stripped out and replaced w/ a
commercial transformer. Worse, although it was supposed to work with a Mk
III set, the negative side of HT2 was grounded, which makes the 807 final
really unhappy on R/T.

I can't access the stuff for the moment, but I'm fairly sure I have a dyno
unit for a Mk II set (but without the case) if that's any help.

If you are still looking in a few weeks, drop me a note off-list.

Best,
-John
