Another treasure from my basement!  This is a military aviation item
 from the WW-II era.  It is the Radio Filter FL-30M made by Canadian
 Aviation Electronics (CAE).  Needless to say it is built very well. 
 Essentially this is a passive audio filter for CW and phone that is
 perfect for use with vintage receivers.  They were very popular after
 the war and were quite effective in filtering out interference.  It
 has two telephone plugs; a male that plugs into the headphone jack on
 the receiver and a female that connects to the headphones.  It can
 also be wired so the speaker output plugs into the input side and the
 speaker into the output side.  One of the telephone jacks is broken
 and needs replacement.
