[Boatanchors] HP 606 vs. 608

The 608 generators that I've seen in recent years will reappear for months
at a swap meet and finally be given away to get rid of them.
The 606 are different animals and for me, very useful, for alignment,
include IF, of the old boat anchors. $50 and usually more to as much as
$100 asked in this area anyway.

Brian,
The 606 and the 608 cover different frequencies.
The 608 covers from 10Mc to 400Mc.

HP606. I have an opportunity to get an HP608 at an attractive price and
wonder if it's worth acquiring. I seem to remember someone using one as a
QRP AM transmitter in addition to normal sig gen duties.
