He does not "claim" it is Hammarlund, it is that he believes to be one.
Merely a composite unit, BC-348*** with new panel, and rack cabinet.
Pretty good job doing it. So it's not a "virgin". Have seen many
botched conversions in past 50 years or so on 348's, this looks pretty good.
As mentioned, cabinet worth the bid so far and loads of parts if not used as
intact receiver.
