Dick,

It is a little better than some, but not as good as others.  It does do 
emissions tests.  It allows for line voltage adjustment.  They are 
supposed to have to bakelite covered hole that additional sockets can be 
added.

It may well serve your needs.  I have one of the late year 6XXXX 
Hickocks, so I'm not looking for one - however, if one is wothout this 
beats some of those in the TV techs tube caddy and the one at the local 
store.
