Greetings,

Helping a friend thin out his heard and one item available is a National NC-101X, early version with eye tube.  Physically good shape except for about a 3-4sq." part of the cover that has peeling paint and light surface rust.  Looks stock other than a internally mounted open frame fuse holder could be factory?  or period install?  Well done in any case.  Two of the filter caps have spilled thier guts on to the bottom plate but no other signs of dammage. the easy access to all of the wax paper caps should make a reasonablly easy restoration possible.  Those of you with horror stories feel free to flame away!  Band switch was stuck and I feared mouse nest, as I had seen in a couple of other 100 series radios that I had played with but it turned out that it was just stiff from sitting so long.  In any event, it's looking for a new home.  What a great RX for the CX event....  ok now I'm starting to sound like a used car salesman, time to stop...
Asking $150.00 located in Eastern MA.  I could meet you in the Boston/Worcester/So.NH for pickup but tire kickers need to come to me in Maynard or Peabody MA. Shipping possible but I'd expect that to run close to $80-$100 for propper packing and freight/insurance due to the weight.
