[Boatanchors] Stabiline voltage regulator

I know this is a real long shot, but does anyone have info on a Superior Electric Stabiline Voltage regulator model EMT 4102, specifically, the control unit model CU58?

I contacted Superior and they want $900.00 to replace the unit! (Holy cow! That is 10 years of my Ham Radio budget. . . . )

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
