[Boatanchors] Imagine a world without hamfests

I feel the same way in NW OregonWashington. Now that Tektronix basically
no longer exists, Boeing has pretty much become a final assembly
house, Fluke is same as Tek, all the other electronic/aerospace/etc
that were feeders or spin off have gone along with the HAM, collertors,
etc that use to work for them.

Now it seems you see the same stuff just being sold by someone else
or from the 2nd or 3rd SK. Even worse when you see something I sold
that is now there because the guy I sold it to 20 yrs ago is now SK.

I'm 56 and feel like a youngster at the 'fests here
