I need a 500K audio taper one watt pot if anyone is kind enough to have
one!.  1/4" shaft and a couple of inches in length.

Now on to AM.  The power of a 100 kW transmitter (output) must be able to
peak at 400 kW, that is, all of the tubes, parts, power supply must be able
to supply for generally less than one duty cycle (360 degrees) not only 400
kW but also the efficiency factor added to the 400 kW.  So if the
transmitter is 75% efficient, then there needs to come another 25%.  Power
in the carrier is one and power in the sidebands is three and that equals
four.
