Please join us on Saturday August 8th for the HHI 40 meter Net. You deserve
a break, so let the grass wait for its haircut!

The Pre-Net commences at 12:45 PM EST/EDT, or 1645 UTC. Although I am
generally on frequency by 12:30 PM EST/EDT, 1630 UTC, making sure the
antenna has the right angle to its dangle!

The Net proper starts at 1:00 PM EST/EDT, or 1700 UTC.

The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
assorted THUMPS!, BANGS! and CRASHES courtesy of the road paving crew who
goofed and is now digging up the main water main, again! Today all of our
yards got watered for free courtesy of the County! Fortunately the water
level did not cause me to do a quick search for my Ark plans! But I did
check my military surplus liferaft to be sure it was not leaking. Being
totally blind is enough of a challenge, as I just can not manage to row with
one arm while bailing the water out of the raft with the other!

Hear is hoping to hear you tomorrow! So be there or be a square wave who
