[Boatanchors] Good advice!

I think I HAVE to agree with you David,
As a youngster I wanted to "Do it ALL", got my license, became an
engineer, joined the military, and so forth. When I became a civilian
again I got back into the "Game", to find that things were going downhill.
I looked for and found folks that were interested in advancing the state
of the art in communications, and hooked up with them. Going back to
engineering and amateur radio at the same time. I have indeed modified
and or designed equipment to do wonderous things that were not available
before.
I have also run into folks that got "Set in Their Ways", were stand-offish
to
new ideas, modes and the like. Maybe this is what growing older entails.
New folks are just "Into the magic" not furthering the art, just, chatting
and contesting, and in some cases bragging about their NEW, poorly
understood toys!
We, the Amateur Radio Community, need a new drive and an infusion
of people with inquiry as their main drive.
Every frequency I have explored, has started with CW operation and
most likely always will.
As the case may be. FWIW

"DC to Light and beyond", anyone ready for a tachyon chat?
