Hi gang!!
	I'm posting this for a friend on the east coast (eastern PA area).
He has two SP-600's and a DX-100 transmitter.  Transmitter details are in a
separate listing.  He want to sell these pieces and would like to sell them
to someone on the east coast, but would consider shipping them via bus so
they don't get ruined and it doesn't cost so much to ship.  The two Sp-600's
are both JX-17's and are complete but do not have top and bottom covers. One
works and one does not.  I'll list the particulars separate.

1. Working JX-17.  We couldn't find a serial number on this piece, but it's
a later unit.  It appears that it was factory built with ceramic caps and
was not a field conversion.  Bob (my friend) did some clean up on it,
checked and changed some tubes, and it came right up and worked.  Appears to
be close on calibration.  Front panel needs refinished but the knobs are in
nice shape.  Chassis needs cleaned, but I don't believe the chassis is
corroded (I'm not 100 percent sure, looking at photos).  Underneath appears
excellent.  Meter is original and radio has not been dropped or damaged
otherwise.  $275.00 seems like a fair price for a later JX-17 with ceramic
caps.

2.	Second unit is not working and is full of Black Beauty Caps.  It
will need to be recapped.  Unit looks dirty and some rust on the
transformers is visible.  Front panel will need refinished and the knobs
again look nice.  Bob tells me that all the tubes light but there is no
signal through the radio.  That's because one of the switch wafers in the
selectivity switch in the IF strip is broken.  May just need a switch
repair.  Other than that the unit appears complete.  $150 as is.  Bob has a
number of pictures of both radios and will be happy to answer e-mails on
anything to do with them.  Please reply to willsmusik at aol.com and make any
arrangements with him on these two receivers.  He will be happy to send pics
of the radios as well.
