Rod,

They are a LOT lighter than you'd think.  The aluminum outer "shell" or 
"skin" on the receivers is VERY thin!

The power supply - IF its the rectifier supply - would weigh about twice 
what a Heath HP-23 would.

One rcvr will cover 200Kc to 2Mc, the second one will cover 2Mc to 20Mc.

The ones I've seen and owned were made for the U.S. Navy by 
Westinghouse.  Mine had August 1943 stamped all over the inside components.

You'll enjoy them!
