Got corrected.  The 837 has a 12V filament.  P&H offered it as a substitute 
for the -modified- 1625s.
Got home and looked it up on old QST ads.  Robert got me straightened out.

I think the P&H early 400 even used a roller inductor from and ARC-5 TX for 
their tank coil?
