This is an "easy do", but while one is at it, just one more small socket, a tube and a few components, you have a seperate oscillator stage and a much more efficient transmitter!
Can be as simple as a triode Pierce oscillator. If yoy steal the tubes from an ARC-5 transmitter, the 1626 makes a good Pierce oscillator stage.
If you MUST do a one tuber, anything designed for the 6V6, 6L6 will work just fine with the 1625.

the 1625 tube for a simple one tube crystal controlled low power cw
transmitter?
Many thanks
