[Boatanchors] simple transmitter using the 1625 tube

Gang,

The esteemed Mr. Downs points out that I am confused.  I stand corrected.

The 1625 is actually a 12-volt 807 with two extra pins that have no 
connection.  The fallacious info below came from "Tube Lore", and 
extremely helpful book that's usually dead on.  Not this time, however.  
I'm BCC'ing the author, a personal friend.

In any event, there are many 807 circuits that can be applied to 1625's.
