[Boatanchors] Gonset communicator and amplifier in TV commercial

I hardly ever watch TV other than something recorded on the Replay TV.  Thus
I hardly ever see commercials.

 

About 4:15 PM local time I was looking for coverage on the Montecito/Santa
Barbara fire or the Brea/Orange County fire and stumbled on the middle of a
commercial for Mountain Dew.  

 

A mountain top scene in pouring rain with a couple of lightning hits and a
very brief shot for me anyway in the middle of the commercial of a woman
sitting at a table that included a Gonset Communicator on top of a Gonset
Amplfier.  There was some mention of Ham Radio I think though the sound was
too low for me to be sure.

 

I think the channel was "Spike TV."
