Hello-
I know this is a long shot but I am trying to find some technical info (schematic, wiring info) on a beautifully built PC board module by DJ3CI. There was a series of PC board modules produced in Germany by Walter Schilling DJ3CI and sold in the early 1970's in USA by Spectrum International.
Jim Fisk, W1DTY, built an 80 meter SSB transceiver using some of these modules and the article appeared in June 1969 Ham Radio Mag page 8, called " Homebrew Single - Band SSB Transceiver". The heart of this transceiver was a board produced by DJ3CI called the " HS 1000 D", a 9.0 Mhz SSB generator with KVG XF-9B filter on the board. The schematic for this board appears in the article. On page 65 of same magazine an ad of Spectrum International appears showing some of these DJ3CI boards.
I have the "HS 1000 ZF". It has a 9.0 MHZ IF amp strip on it with USB and LSB crystal osc. plus the XF-9B KVG filter. I cannot find this board advertised by Spectrum International in any late 1960's or early 1970's magazines.
Is there anyone with data or knowlegde of someone who may know something about W1DTY, Spectrum International or DJ3CI regarding this board?
Thank you for your time,
Byron WA5THJ
