You can purchase six rechargeable AA cells and an efficient charger for
about $24. Very cost effective, very efficient.
I am a professional Magician/Illusionist and use a HME dual diversity
wireless receiver and mike on stage. The battery pack for the mike uses a 9
VDC battery. Two performances per battery lifetime. Not cost efficient! I
bought a charger and two rechargable 9 VDC batteries. I did not have to
replace either of the rechargeable batteries for ten years! It is amazing
how much money you can save by using six AA rechargeable batteries and a
charger over a few years!
Oh yes, I should mention this. The charger I bought for AA batteries does
four at one time.
