It's already been done, unless they closed it down. If it's still
around, this renewed interest would sure be a boost to it.
You can consider me in. Here's the original announcement:

Subject: New list - Novice-Rigs - buy, sell, trade, discuss!
Hello all! I have just started a new 'QTH.net' email list with a focus
of interest to me, and I think many others - old Novice rigs of the
past. Conar Twins DX-60 / HR-10 Drake 2C / 2NT Globe Scout 680 /
Hallicrafters S-85 Heathkit AR-3 / DX-20 Ameco AC-1 ANYTHING homebrew
with a Novice slant Without all the clutter about amplifiers, Collins
gear, SSB rigs, and all the non-novice stuff. On this list you can offer
for sale, WTB, for trade, or Ebay plus any Novice-gear related
discussions, hints, tips, or whatever - as long as it's Novice Gear
related! To subsrcibe: send an email to [log in to unmask] In the
subject line write: subscribe Novice-Rigs [log in to unmask] (your email
address)
