Also announced was the 6D5 power triode which died a fast death.
QST had a release in the May 1935 issue with detailed specs in subsequent
issues.
GE said the first radios to use the new tubes would be their fall 1935
models.
Hallicrafters had them in the SX-9 which was introduced in November 1935 but
had production delays well into mid-late 36.
