That depends upon the initial quality of the cable and the enviroment it is
in.
The only true test is to measure the attenuation.
Since RG-8 became a rather generic nomenclature once RG-213 became the mil
spec, it could be anywhere in the loss column by now.
Foam dielectrics age better than the solid version. I have some 1980's
Belden 8213 and 8214 that still meets published specs.
