I do not have any idea as to how much an original
attenuator is worth but I do make modern equivalents.
You may get an idea as to what the originals are
valued from the amount that I charge (and people are
quite willing to pay) for the reproductions.
Go to the following URL for the attenuators:

Does anyone on the list have any idea how much an EF
Johnson Attenuator box is worth. This is the device
that is placed between the AM transmitter and the
liner to drop the RF power from the transmitter to a
value that a linear amp can use without overdriving
the amp. Any help with this will be appriciated as I
can not seem to find any reference to this unit
anywahere. Maybe I am just looking in the wrong
place??
