Try 73 magazine, June 1967, pp. 6-14, The Whole of the Donur, E.L. Klein
W4BRS. He describs many toroidial tank circuits, some with stacked T-200
cores. The tanks covered 100, 500, and 1000 Watts. The 500 Wat coil used
one T-200 core. The 1000 Watt coil usedtwo stacked T-200 cores.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Toroid Tank coils for HF Linear

CALLING ALL OLD TIMERS!!!! A number of years ago there
was an article in one of the ham magazines that
described how to wind a final tank coil, on a pair of
toroid cores, for a high Power HF linear. It used two
T-200 toroid cores stacked. I need to find the
article!!

I have a very extensive library of QST, CQ, 73, Ham
radio and Electric Radio magazines. Several of the
mentioned publications go back to early 1950s. I
remember the article, but can't remember the exact
location of the article. I thought it was somewhere in
73 in the early 60s. I have looked through 1963
through 1965 indexes of 73 to no avail.

Can anyone assist me in locating the article? I sure
would appreciate your help, if you can remember the
article and its' location. Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW
