Greetings from the four formerly golden, now slightly rusty, towers of the
Fischer Building. The Golden Voice Of The Great Lakes is now mostly Silver,
with a little Copper/Nickel thrown in for stability! Consider this as a bit
of a distress yelp for your help.
I am in need of several volunteers to assist with relay work for tomorrows
Sunday March 30th twenty meter Net.
The time is from 1:15 - 3:00 PM EDT, (1715 - 1900 UTC). The frequency is
14.293 MHZ usb, but I will be operating from 14.292 up to 14.293 MHZ! My QTH
is Flint, Michigan.
I especially need stations in the northwestern and southwestern states. I
could also use one in the Colorado area. I could also use anyone near Puerto
Rico or Hawaii.
Because the twenty meter band has been so unstable and unusually long as of
late, many signals from west of Illinois are either going over myself or the
usual relay stations. I have gotten quite a few e-mails the past month
asking for additional stations to help relay those trying to check in, and
not being heard, into the Net. I appreciate your interest, faithfullness and
participation. Not just now, but over the ten years I have been the NCS for
the Hallicrafters Nets. So anyone who can help me, it will really be
appreciated! If you can assist tomorrow, or any Sunday, please contact me
"before" 11:00 AM EDT tomorrow. Thank you VERY much!
