Osternman book "Shortwave Receivers Past and Present 2nd Edition" shows a
value of $150.00 - $250.00, and considers this a "very scarce" radio, In
his radio descriptions he uses "very scarce" quite often. Ive seen tube
receivers show up regularly at ham radio flea markets at less than he
suggests - and this book is a few years old now. . If you are giving the
letter of donation for tax reciept purposes, you need to be able to
reference the value in some way, so go to sources like Osterman. Don't use
"epay" as a source of valuing for appraised values. I have heard first hand
from tax folks that they do not consider "epay" values as a qualified source
for appraisal. If the radio is as nice as you say - it should be worth
$150.00 - $200.00 (my opinion) for tax or insurance purposes.
