Wow, looks like if I sold my NCX-1000 I could retire...
The NCX-1000 is a nice transceiver, considering it's one of the first
solid-state transceivers (except of course for the power stages) it performs
very well, it sounds nice and receives well. It's HEAVY! The beauty is that
mine was given to me a few years ago ("take it or else it goes in the
dumpster. It has no output and I bought a new yae-com-wood transceiver")
because the output tube was blown and the owner couldn't figure it out...
I think only about 100 made - I may be wrong about the number.
