After looking at the antenna socket I realized that it looked somehow
familiar and I believe that it is the same connector that is used on the
SCR-522. It sure looks like the same connector and the measurements of the
46-74C receptacle on the BC-639-A seem to match the S0 -153 receptacle on
the SCR-522. I looked it up in the manual and I believe that it is either a
PL-P173 stright, or a PL-Q173 right angle. Maybe by giving the part no's. it
might help in my search for the connector. If anyone has either one or both
of these I would be happy to take either one or both. If by any chance it
isn't the same as the one used on the BC-639-A I will take them anyway as I
have a couple of SCR-522's that they can be used on.

I have just acquired a nice BC-639-A and have jury rigged an antenna to it.
It seems to have no problems at this time. Because I don't really want to
modify the set in any way, I could use the coax antenna plug which is
special and the power cable jones plug. I know I can download the manual
from BAMA but I find that an orginal manual is much handier. Anyone haveing
any of these items surplus to their needs please reply off list.
Thanks
