I have just acquired a nice BC-639-A and have jury rigged an antenna to it. It seems to have no problems at this time. Because I don't really want to modify the set in any way, I could use the coax antenna plug which is special  and the power cable jones plug. I know I can download the manual from BAMA but I find that an orginal manual is much handier. Anyone haveing any of these items surplus to their needs please reply off list.
