Hi David & Joe,
    I  am not aware of the Collins Journal, How do I subscribe??  
I did find the list on line that you forwarded, Joe and it sure looks OK. I just 
thought I'd run this by the experts here  before proceeding.  The 70 E-7A looks 
original, as it uses a 4 pin plug for the connections and the manual I received 
with it shows the 6SJ7 tube and the dessicant chamber. I guess my real question 
is, will this PTO be an improvement over the original, or should I try to 
restore the 70E-7A?? Thanks for your quick replies!! 73, Ross W1EKG
