[Boatanchors] NC-173 alignment question

I would appreciate the collective opinion of the groups as to if the 
receiver should be in the cabinet when doing a alignment. I don't want to do 
it twice!

I have searched the original manual and the Sam;s and there is no mention of 
it.

There are no holes in the bottom cover to access the trimmers. . . .
