[Boatanchors] BNC connectors, a short tale

Why is it when you need something you know you've got , somewhere, you can never find it till you don't need it anymore and then you find even those you didn't know you had?  Is this part of Murphy's law? 

I know someplace around here i've got some BNC connectors, the kind that go on the end of a cable but darned if i can find them.  New items at that still in the sealed packages.  Well i'm needing the crimp collar(s) that hold the braid to the connector.  Can't figure out how it happened but when i was yanking the cable off the rack, i know it had two good connectors on it, it finally came free, minus 1 end though.  Wonder how that happened, was ok the last time i used it! Oh well, Must be some around here someplace but in case if you've got  42 cents worth of them laying around,  i'll gladly send you a stamped envelope to get several of them from you.
