I retired as the NCS of the Saturday Hallicrafters 40 meter Net over a year
ago. Offering to stay on as 'temporary' NCS until one of "YOU" came forward
to occupy my official NCS chair. Fully expecting that one of you would do
so. Thus far it has not happened. But it needs to!

So enjoy the Saturday 40 meter HHI Net while you can, as unless one of you
assume the duty of NCS, there will not be one much longer.

The Pre-Net will commence at 12:30 PM EST/EDT, (1630 UTC). The HHI Net
proper leaps toward the Ionosphere at 1:00 PM EST/EDT, (1700 UTC). The
frequency, shall be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
relay chatter since the blind dude grabbed the wrong can of contact cleaner
and gave the HF amplifier TR relay a shot of NASCAR carb air flow screw jet
"It Ain't Graphite And An Ill Eagle!" lubricant! It is more slick than a
greased Pig smeared with slightly rancid Whale blubber, rubbed down with
that spray on anti stick stuff for a cast iron skillet and quick dipped in
that French skin cream that lets those girls on the beach get into and out
of a bikini faster then an IRS agent can yell "AUDIT!" when your 1040 is
filled out with a Crayola crayon! Ever heard a used cars sales artist
slightly buzzed on stimulants doing his sales pitch like a 16 2/3 rpm vinyl
record being played at 45 rpm? Well that is how my TR relay is operating!
Hopefully before the Net tomorrow I can slow it down some by hanging all
these heavy old Lead fishing sinkers I found in an old tackle box on those
two little springs that control the relay contacts tension level.
