[Boatanchors] need info possible FS of a Tx.

Hi Fellow Am'rs
Pass this along if you please. I have circa '47 Federal Telephone 
transmitter. The original vfo & multipliers were missing / incomplete 
but all the rack & PA is complete & original meters, etc. My plan was to 
rebuild this tx into a phone rig ( it was originally cw only) employing 
813s to match the 813s in pa, driven by a Johnson Ranger. The bottom 
part of front panel will be replaced & matched w/ top panel. Then finish 
everything w/ black wrinkle powder coat. My question is; what might this 
rig be worth to a serious Am'r? Is there interest out there for 
something like this? I've had this rig around for a number of years & I 
need to do something with it, hi. Comparing; a restored Collins KWS-1 
brings $4500. A johnson 500 restored brings $5500. This Fed Tel rig when 
finished will do legal limit w/ better audio than a J-500.
I want your opinion.
