   I have a fairly nice 75A-1 for sale -

The radio is working, probably not as good as it could,
(tubes/alignment?) panel is original paint and in good shape, cabinet
is original save it was painted black crackle many years ago and has the
usual scratches and chips.

A filter cap can has been removed from the chassis, and there is a
(apparently Collins) transformer or choke on the chassis
partially covering the hole. There is some hygroscopic/deliquescent
substance on the right side of the chassis and smeared on
the PTO/IF assy cover (not inside - that's very clean) - almost like sugar
- don't know - it wipes up easily and does not appear
to be causing any trouble - just gunky.

All the dial lights even work.

No speaker.

This is probably a '6' of '10' - needs moderate TLC but not Divine
Intervention.

I will professionally pack and ship - to CONUS ONLY - the Lower 48 - maybe
to Hawaii or Alaska, but we'd have to discuss that
further. Sales to USA Addresses only.

Will be happy to send lots of hi-res digital pix and any further info you
wish.

Please Contact Me Privately Off-List - do not reply back to this list -
thank you! reply to: jpl15 at panix.com

Asking $475 - plus a bit extra for my Obsessive Boatanchor Packing
Services... :} charges depend on where/how fast. radio
is in Carson City, NV zip 89403 - if you're close, come and see it!

I will post copies of this to the AmSwap, Boatanchors and Johnson Lists,
separately, to avoid multiple-crosspost, full-digest,
one-liner "Me Too!" type reply abuse.

   Cheers
