[Boatanchors] on topic, looking for software

I am updating all my information but this time I am
taking a digital photo of each item and printing a
hard copy of each sheet with a description, financial
information, etc. Since I have various items that
look similar, have the same basic model number, etc.,
but have different accessories like filters, etc., I
want my heirs to know the differences which can
definitely affect the value. Those will be placed in a
3-ring binder and put in a place where my wife and
daughters know where it is. Also am leaving the
information in a file on my computer.

I use a spreadsheet format. Has columns and numbered
lines. You can customize it a 101 different ways.
Update it every 6 months and print a copy. It's simple
and anyone can read and understand the printed copy.
No "special" software program needed here after I'm
gone.
