This is not a foolish message.
All of us are getting older and alot of our equipment will wind up where we do not want it to go. I am an historical writer and a radio engineer by profession.
I am looking for a real, older, gentleman who would be willing to part with a station or especially a HRO-500 for little money. I am able to offer tax deductions. However, I am not some silly fool here. If I could get such a receiver, I would tenderly use it, and then in about 15 years, I would find a way to likewise pass it along for little or no money to someone who would be willing to nuture and cherish it.
It is getting harder to find younger men and women who would want and care for our equipment as some on this list have already found out. Those who are generally buying high priced equipment are either older collectors or some foreign individual. There is not a lot of interest among the post college or pre college age folk.
Don't laugh too much guys, this is an actual appeal.
