Bob,

BAMA is alive and well and still accepting uploads! What has changed is
that I am no longer soliciting test gear manuals. BAMA was originally
limited to tube type amateur radio gear and SWL receivers and auxiliary
equipment. Unfortunately, the auxiliary stuff, including test gear,
soon far outpaced the ham and SWL equipment. BAMA has simply returned
to its "roots." Uploads of tube type ham and SWL equipment are still
accepted and, indeed, solicited. Your comment, however, reminds me that
I need to look at the BAMA home page and make sure that it doesn't
indicate otherwise. Thanks for that!

I certainly agree with you that the Hammarlund Historian site is the
place to go for info on the SP-600 series. I am sure that there is more
there than you would find on BAMA.

You are also correct about me being limited to a satellite connection to
the internet. However, that hasn't been as bad as I anticipated. It
does mean that it takes me a bit longer to do the house-keeping chores
on BAMA, but the site is being maintained and still accepting uploads
(or CDs or files sent by one of the upload services such as YouSendIt,
Savefile or Sendthisfile.)
