Hi All!
I asked this question awhile back. Al was kind enough to point me at his 
page. That method works extremely well.
Disclaimer: Each component replacement requires a good look around to 
see  what's going to be affected by a new part. Mostly, the new parts 
are 1/2 the size of the old ones. Kinda makes fitting easy but dressing 
hard.
BTW: there is a copy of the Collins factory training manual (regarding 
soldering and assembly) floating around the net. Interesting reading.
