I have used the  Wrinkle enamel from Napa on several projects with good sucess.

About  $7 a can.

Do not apply primer.

Make sure surface is clean ( wipe with paint thinner  prior to painting.)

Three coats of the wrinkle paint will produce nice results.

I just use a hair dryer to "kick off" the wrinkling.

If you use an oven, do not set it at too high a temperature. The high temperature will stop the wrinkling from taking place.
