No, you have to chew the baseboards in a house that was painted with lead based paint and then swallow to get lead poisoning.
Whiskers have been problematic for decades. At the Collins Radio plant here in Richardson, Texas, they were very common on the earlier thin film circuits and were usually purple in color. As such, they were called the "purple plague".

That's what I read on the Internet about the new solder... whiskers that can cause magnanimous problems. By the way, I do a lot of soldering. Have been doing so since I was 12 years old. I'm now 57 years older... so for 57 years I've been breathing the lead solder.... I guess that some day it's going to kill me, like when I'm 95 or 100 or................... Oh shoot, maybe I'm supposed to chew it... darn... I remember doing that too when I was a "nervous teenager".... HI.
