I still use the "silver brite" for all outside antenna and ground
connections.
I agree, it is completely different from "silver brazing". I use that
method for special uses, such as securing brass to steel to make the
brass act as a bushing in lieu of steel to steel contact.
The "silver bearing" stuff was always inside the "old" Tektronix tube
type scopes on a little spool. It was used specifically for their purposes.
I have several 1 pound rolls of the Kester 60/40 for electronic use.
