[Boatanchors] How to repair stripped panel threads

What I have used with success on both thick and thin strip outs is 
the -Blind Nut- kit.  Mine goes from 1/4 inch to 6/32 size.  They are 
aluminum but seem to hold OK.  Takes a special tool but not really too 
expensive.  Just bore out hole to size of unit and install.
Walla a new thread.  Works like a "pop rivet".  Don't ask me where to get 
it, plumb forgot, been a while back. It does leave a small   "head", thus a 
tiny gap but usually can live with that.
