I've got -1-, maybe you can round up another. My -old- Motorola Spec book shows it to be  a 2amp device, 60V with an hFE of 60.
>From book you can use an MPS-U06 and maybe an 07.

Really only thing special about it is the case, a -152-, if you have room/hole size, etc, a  TIP-31A should work. It is a TO-220 case.
Little lower hFE, but in that application should work.  You will have to twist the leads to match up for the PC board.  BCE instead of 
EBC.
