Hi,
I have several boatanchor rigs that I will part with. I am moving the
week of December 8 and I would be delighted if I could get out of moving
them. I haven't used them in a number of years and probably won't use
all of them - ever. I would prefer somebody who wants to use them make
me some kind of offer. I would prefer local pickup in the Flint-Lansing
area of Michigan. I will ship to U.S locations but these are relatively
heavy and I don't have time to pack them so you would have to pay for
the UPS store to pack them and then ship them (I don't know if they are
reliable). The shipping would probably cost more than the radios. If
they are still here when I start moving I'll start slipping pieces into
other loads where room and protection exists. Once I have them at my new
home 150 miles away... they will stay for a while.
1 Heathkit DX-100
1 Heathkit Apache
-I want to keep one or the other and I favor the old DX-100 - make offer
1 Heathkit HR10 with xtal cal - 20 and 15 meters inoperative
1 Heathkit DX-60
1 Knight T-60
All of these worked the last time I tapped them except the HR10. I
loaned it to several new hams and one of them asked permission to change
20 meters to 30 meters. I gave him permission. Now 20 and 15 meter vfo
doesn't oscillate. You fix it. If this was EBay these would be "no
reserve". If you want one of these speak up and make arrangements. Even
though I'm getting rid of boat anchors a trade is possible.
